Born and raised on the land, Bruce went on to complete a Bachelor’s in Business at a young age. In 2007 he decided to pursue a passion in property, by completing a Diploma in Property. Bruce has previously worked with Herron Todd White in Emerald and also with Propell National Valuers in Cairns before working at Northern Property Valuers in Mareeba and Cairns, where he has really flourished and has since become Director and owner of Northern Property Valuers and also Bellator Property Consultants.
Bruce has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience within the property sector from residential housing to industrial/commercial buildings and the rural sector.
Janet recently took up the baton to support the extension of our consultancy in property into workplace health and safety. As our resident Safety Audit specialist, Janet conducts comprehensive safety audits, identifies potential risks, and implements effective strategies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Janet’s specialties are drawn from the extensive range of areas she has applied her administrative and leadership talents. She has successfully led teams in international missions, where her leadership and organisational skills were crucial in challenging environments. As a business owner, Janet honed her ability to manage complex projects and guide her teams to success.
Michael has a bachelor’s degree in Property through Central Queensland University and is a Queensland registered valuer. Michael completed his cadetship through Northern Property Valuers, Mareeba and has continued to be a true asset to the team.
Michael joined the team at Bellator Property Consultants when Bruce and Janet Coates brought D.J. Jones & Co. in 2020. Having a background in agriculture and construction, Michael brings a unique skill set that adds a depth of experience and knowledge to the team at Bellator Property Consultants. With a passion for community Michael has developed incredible networking and communication skills that assists when working with the multiple of disciplines and industries required at Bellator.
Rachel joined our team in 2020 and has been a valuable resource and support to our Valuers and customers alike.
Rachel has a background in counselling, welfare and administration with a Bachelor’s degree in
Social Work at the University of Central QLD. The skills she brings to Bellator include her attention to detail, work ethic and consistency in performance.
She brings an amazing focus to the needs and satisfaction of our clients. The communication level provided helps everyone feel at ease, while making sure the work is being delivered.
